Omar Oliveira

Omar Oliveira is a seasoned Cloud Engineer with substantial experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation across multiple platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP. Currently employed at Cegid since June 2025, Omar collaborates with the Cloud Architect to create cloud solutions that align with business goals. Previously, Omar held similar roles at ConvaTec and Nokia, demonstrating proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, cost optimization, and liaising with security operations to secure cloud environments. Omar also possesses extensive experience in telecommunications, having worked in project management and technical systems administration roles. Omar holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications and Computing Engineering from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Salford.
