Pedro Vale

Pedro Vale has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership roles. Pedro currently serves as the VP of Engineering for AI, Data, and Frameworks at Cegid. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology Officer at LYTT and the VP of Engineering for Pentaho Data Integration and Business Analytics Platform at Hitachi Vantara. Pedro also held roles as the VP of Engineering at Pentaho, a Hitachi Group company, and as a Development Lead at Webdetails. Pedro started their career as a Developer/Consultant at Banco BPI and later became an Engineering Director at tekever.

Pedro Vale completed their education at two institutions. From 1995 to 2000, they attended the Instituto Superior Técnico, where they earned a degree in Informatic Engineering. Pedro then furthered their education at the same institution from 2000 to 2002, obtaining a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence.
