Stibenzon Cañas Sánchez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as an Ingeniero Desarrollador at Websys. Stibenzon then moved to KMS Ltda in 2002 and served as a Solutions Developer until 2005. In 2005, Cañas Sánchez joined Ceiba Software where they held multiple positions. Stibenzon started as a Project Manager from June 2005 to December 2009 and then became the Gerente de Producción from December 2009 to January 2016. Finally, Cañas Sánchez became the Chief Executive Officer of Ceiba Software in January 2016, a role that they currently hold.

Stibenzon Cañas Sánchez has a diverse education history. In 1999-2004, they attended Politénico Colombiano 'Jaime Isaza Cadavid', where they earned a degree in Informático. Then, in 2005-2007, they pursued a specialized degree in Desarollo de Software at Universidad de Eafit. In 2010-2012, they completed an MBA with a specialization in Gerencia de Proyectos at Universidad de Viña del Mar. Stibenzon also obtained certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Developer, from ScrumAlliance in 2011 and 2012, respectively. In 2016, they participated in a program called Management3.0 at https://management30.com/about/. Continuing their professional development, they enrolled in Leading SAFe v4.5 (SA SAFe 4) at Scaled Agile, Inc in 2018. Recently, in 2021, Stibenzon attended INALDE Business School and IPADE Business School, completing the Programa de alta dirección empresarial and CICA 2021, respectively, with a focus on administration and general business management.
