Natallia Madzia Valasevich serves as the Head of the Plant Sciences Core Facility at CEITEC - Central European Institute of Technology since September 2016, overseeing the operation of 15 phytotrons, 10 greenhouses, and 4 small growth chambers, while managing daily activities and user communications. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the Julius Kühn Institute, focusing on phytoplasma species in fruit crops, as well as scientific researcher roles at the Institute for Fruit Growing, where projects included the characterization of viruses in blueberries and apples, and the evaluation of genetic stability in apple rootstocks. Natallia's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Institute for Fruit Growing and a Master of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Belarusian State University.
