Ashwin Arumugham

Ashwin Arumugham is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality management and operations. Currently serving as Director of S&OP and Director of Quality at Celanese since July 2019, Ashwin oversees the quality program for the engineered materials division, leading a team of approximately eight and supervising around thirty plant quality managers globally. Prior to Celanese, Ashwin held various leadership roles at Siemens from April 2008 to July 2019, including Head of Quality Management Systems and Supplier Quality Management, where responsibilities included managing teams, streamlining processes, and driving supplier performance improvement. Ashwin's career began in the Siemens organizations from October 2002 to April 2008 and has included roles focusing on business excellence and quality engineering. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
