Carsten Meyer has extensive experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, holding various leadership roles since 1994. Currently, Carsten serves as the Director of Quality and Stewardship at Celanese, overseeing the establishment of a robust Quality and EHS organization under the new Principal Operating Company model. Previous positions at Celanese include Operations Manager, where significant achievements included managing the construction of the largest POM plant globally and implementing energy management programs. Prior experience at GE Bayer Silicones and Bayer involved managing manufacturing units, launching new plants, and leading pilot plant operations, all while focusing on process improvements and operational excellence. Carsten holds a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
