Douglas Potter

Douglas Potter is a seasoned professional in the field of rotating equipment and mechanical reliability, currently serving as a Senior Reliability Specialist at Celanese since February 2023. Previously, Douglas worked as a Rotating Equipment Specialist at PEMEX from January 2022 to February 2023, and at Shell from November 2005 to January 2022, holding various roles including Rotating Equipment Specialist, Mechanical Specialist Supervisor, Mechanical Specialist, Mechanical Inspector, Vibration Analyst, and Machinist. Douglas began career as a Millwright Foreman at Universal Plant Services and later at Wood Group. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from LeTourneau University, obtained from 2011 to 2015, and has a high school diploma from Rosemount Senior High School, earned in June 1990.
