Klaus Bender

Klaus Bender is an experienced professional in the automotive and transportation sectors, currently serving as the Application Development Leader for Automotive EMEA at Celanese since November 2022. Previously, Klaus Bender held various roles at DuPont from 2005 to the present, including Application Development Manager and Automotive Marketing and Application Development Leader. Earlier in the career, Klaus Bender worked in marketing and technical management roles at DuPont Performance Polymers and in various capacities in automotive marketing and sales from 1988 to 2000. Klaus Bender began the professional journey with a tool maker apprenticeship at YMOS GmbH from 1979 to 1982. Educationally, Klaus Bender holds an MBA from the European University in Geneva and a Dipl. Ing. in Plastics Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt.
