Matthew Miles

Matthew Miles is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and sourcing within the engineered materials and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Alternative Sourcing at Celanese since March 2024, Matthew oversees buy, sell, and trade agreements with co-producers. As the Owner and Rancher of Sunrise Farm since January 2023, a cow-calf operation, Matthew has embraced entrepreneurship alongside a robust career in corporate roles. Previously, Matthew held various procurement and management positions at Trinity Industries, Inc., Cabot Microelectronics, and Celanese, demonstrating expertise in sourcing significant budgets and leading global teams. Matthew began the career journey in strategic sourcing with Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems and has a diverse educational background, including an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas and a BA in Economics, Finance, and Spanish from Austin College.
