Professor Anders Palmqvist is head of Applied Chemistry and VP of Research at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. After spending time in Volvo’s catalyst research lab he decided to go full-time in academics and has made numerous discoveries in mesoporous materials. Mostimportantly he invented the noble-metal free catalyst and works on its improvements.
