Melissa Castillo

Melissa Castillo is an accomplished professional in the field of drug safety and pharmacovigilance with extensive experience across multiple companies. Currently serving as Director of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at MEI Pharma since September 2021, Castillo previously held the role of Associate Director in the same department. Prior positions include Associate Director of Clinical Safety Operations at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Associate Director of Global Drug Safety Quality Management and Senior Manager of Drug Safety Operations at La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company, and various roles at Synteract and InterMune, culminating in a Senior Manager position. Castillo began the career as a Quality Control Analyst at Genentech.
