Kristen Orton

Kristen Orton has extensive experience in the restaurant industry, primarily working for Celebration Restaurant Group and its franchises. Kristen started their career in 2007 as a Marketing Trainer for Yum! Brands, where they conducted marketing orientation for new managers and supervised restaurant-level marketing teams. From 2007 to 2018, they worked for Celebration Restaurant Group: A Pizza Hut and Taco Bell Franchisee as a Senior Financial Auditor/Trainer. In this role, they conducted financial audits, identified areas for improvement in internal controls, and provided monthly training sessions for restaurant managers. Since 2018, Kristen has held various leadership positions at Celebration Restaurant Group, including Director of Training and Development/KFC Region Coach and Director of Operational Support. In these roles, they have demonstrated strong operational leadership, workforce planning, and financial excellence for a $6M portfolio. Kristen has excelled in building and inspiring teams and has a passion for excellence in customer and team member experiences. Additionally, they have experience as a Financial Analyst, where they analyzed financial status, recommended actions to senior executives, and conducted monthly financial workshops for restaurant teams.

Kristen Orton's education history includes several achievements. In 2015, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Central Florida. Later, in 2017, they pursued and completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Leadership from the same institution. In 2019, Kristen obtained a Human Resources Generalist Certificate in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, in May 2021, they acquired the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
