Ygor Azevedo

Bringing a touch of Brazilian samba flavor to their tech team is Full Stack Developer, Ygor Azevedo, reigning in from Brasilia, Brazil. Ygor is a graduate of Computer Science with a degree from the University of Brasilia (CEUB) and has joined the CeleBreak team in May 2022. Now currently in charge of developing and innovating many aspects, both in functionality as well as improving the UX/UI ensuring the best in-app experience possible.

As one would imagine, having been born and raised in Brazil, Ygor has been deeply involved in football since a very young age. He began playing football during his childhood for many years leading to a lifelong passion for the game both as a player of friendly pick-up games as well as from a spectators point of view. Eventually recognizing that although he very much enjoys playing football, he wasn’t the biggest fan of such fierce competition and so decided to only play with friends having left the competitive leagues he once played in.

His most memorable moment in football was back in 1994 where he had the good fortune of watching the World Cup Final between Brazil and Italy. Surrounded by friends and family in one of the tensest moments he’s lived as a fan it was when both teams were facing off in a penalty shoot-out and Baggio kicked the shot wide of the goal securing Brazil’s victory as World Champions!

Professionally speaking, Ygor is a person who is highly motivated by ever-evolving challenges which push him to constantly grow and learn in order to find innovative solutions to any situations or problems that may arise. This goes hand-in-hand with his personal development and growth through which he draws inspiration to always constantly seek becoming a better and more intuitive person. When he isn’t working on exciting and innovative coding, Ygor really enjoys visiting with his friends, playing video games, or getting out in the open and playing a fun game of football or tennis.

Motivated and inspired by the camaraderie and teamwork within CeleBreak, Ygor is more than sure that he made the best choice when coming onboard and joining their team in working towards their goal for connecting people through offering friendly football to everyone, everywhere! It was after being contacted by Daniel Foth, CEO and Cofounder of CeleBreak, and discussing the possibility of collaborating and growing this amazing dream together that Ygor took the jump and has been shining as a star player of their team ever since.
