Gonzalo Fernández attended Colegio Retamar from 1979 to 1991 for their primary and secondary education. Following this, they enrolled at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Continuing their education, Gonzalo Fernández pursued an Executive MBA from IESE Business School between 2003 and 2005. In 2005, they also completed an International Module in Shanghai at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) as part of their IESE EMBA program.
