Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael is currently serving as a Senior Engineer - Linux at D4t4 Solutions Plc. Prior to this role, they worked as a Systems Engineer III at Omnicell from 2019 to 2021. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Cloud Systems Engineer at NantHealth, where they developed and maintained cloud containers for a healthcare application and served as a DevOps engineer for a cloud platform team. Before that, Michael held positions as a LAMP Engineer and Developer at CBN from 2014 to 2016 and as a Senior LAMP Engineer at TEKsystems in 2014. Michael also has experience as a Senior Database Administrator/Manager at MacAulay Brown in 2013. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Intelligent Software Solutions, and they also had a brief role as a Senior Systems Engineer at Raytheon in 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Integration Engineer at BAE Systems from 1995 to 2007 and as a Systems Engineering/System Security professional at E-Systems (now known as Raytheon) from 1989 to 1995.

Michael Nelson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science from Christopher Newport University from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Information Technology from Ashford University from 2008 to 2011.
