Russell Hunt

Mr. Hunt is a founder and the Managing Partner of Atlantic Merchant Capital Advisors, LLC. Mr. Hunt has 25 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public offerings, and strategic financial advisory assignments as both an advisor and investor. Prior to founding AMCA, Mr. Hunt was a co-founder and CEO Kendrick Pierce & Co. Mr. Hunt co-managed Kendrick Pierce & Co with fellow AMCA partner, Jeff Hunt and was instrumental in the firm’s growth into one of the leading investment banks in the Southeast. Kendrick Pierce & Co focused on the financial services industry (including depository institutions, financial technology, outsourcers, asset management and specialty finance). In addition to its investment banking practice, Kendrick Pierce & Co was an active investor in community banks, trust companies, financial technology and outsourcers - most notably were the investments in Mortgage Services Holdings and ProVest, which produced a total return of 21x and 11x, respectively, the firm’s invested capital. Prior to Kendrick Pierce & Co, Mr. Hunt was an associate vice president of Ryan Beck & Co, a full-service investment bank serving financial institutions.

Mr. Hunt holds a B.S. in Finance from the College of Business at the University of South Florida.
