Juan Cuartas

Juan Cuartas has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Juan most recently worked as the Director of Software Engineering at Celerik starting in 2018. Prior to that, they were a FullStack Team Lead at TEAM International from 2017 to 2018, where they were responsible for coordinating workgroups, providing training, and developing strategies. Juan also worked as a Software Architect at Globant from 2016 to 2017, where they were responsible for application design and system architecture. Before that, they worked as a Consultant and Software Architect at MVM Ingeniería de software from 2015 to 2016, where they analyzed client needs and implemented software baselines. Juan also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Yuxi Pacific LLC from 2013 to 2015, where they coordinated and guided developer teams and managed projects. Juan began their career as a Software Engineer at Timpacto SAS in 2011, where they provided support and developed software components. Juan also worked as a Technical Lead at Gestión de Clientes SAS from 2009 to 2011, where they analyzed, designed, and developed software projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Intergrupo SA from 2008 to 2009, where they provided support, maintenance, and new solutions for client applications. Juan started their career as an intern at Grupo Bancolombia SA in 2007, where they developed an information system for the banking security area. Throughout their career, Juan Cuartas has demonstrated strong technical skills and leadership abilities.

Juan Cuartas received their education from Universidad EAFIT. From 2003 to 2008, they pursued a degree in Ingeniero de Sistemas. In 2012 and 2013, they completed a program in Especialista en Desarrollo de Software. In addition to their formal education, Juan Cuartas has obtained several certifications. Juan received certifications from Microsoft in various areas including Cloud Platform, Web Applications, App Builder, and Azure Infrastructure Solutions in 2016. In 2015, they obtained certifications in Scrum Master and CMMI for Development 1.3. Furthermore, in 2013, they obtained the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification, and in the same year, they completed the MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 course offered by Microsoft.
