Jeanethe Anguizola, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jeanethe started their career as a Laboratory Professor at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá in 2006, where they supervised and evaluated undergraduate students in a laboratory setting and instructed them in Instrumental Analytical Chemistry techniques. Jeanethe then worked as a Laboratory Professor at Universidad de Panama from 2006 to 2013, where they continued to teach and instruct students in various chemistry concepts and methods.
In 2007, Anguizola joined the University of Nebraska as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they gained five years of experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory. Their work involved developing and troubleshooting HPLC analytical assays, with expertise in affinity chromatography. Jeanethe also provided mentoring and training on analytical methods and instrumentation to undergraduates and graduate students. Their research focused on the development of methods for personalized medicine to study drug-protein interactions.
After completing their role at the University of Nebraska in 2013, Anguizola worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for a few months. Jeanethe then joined AEGIS FOOD TESTING Laboratories as a Chemistry Supervisor, where they oversaw and managed chemistry-related activities.
In 2014, Anguizola returned to Celerion as a Method Development Scientist, specializing in HPLC. Jeanethe worked on developing and optimizing methods for drug analysis.
In 2017, Anguizola became an Assistant Professor IV (Assistant Professor) at Universidad de Panamá, where they taught and instructed undergraduate students. Their role at the university ended in 2019.
Currently, Anguizola is working as a Scientist at Celerion, where they continue to contribute their expertise in drug analysis and method development.
Jeanethe Anguizola, Ph.D. began their education at the University of Panama (Universidad de Panama), where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from 1999 to 2005. Jeanethe then pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Chemistry with a focus on Analytical Chemistry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2007 to 2009. Continuing their studies at the same university, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry, specializing in Analytical Chemistry, from 2008 to 2013. In 2017, they attended the Universidad Interamericana de Panamá, where they obtained a Master's degree in Education (M.Sc. Education) with an emphasis on Higher Education Teaching until 2018. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Entity Management (Maestría en Gerencia de Entidades Públicas) at the Universidad Latina de Panamá from 2018 to 2020.
