Scott Rasmussen, MD, completed their education in a chronological order as follows. Scott obtained a Diploma from Rushville High School in the years 1976 to 1980. Rasmussen then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Life Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1980 to 1984. Scott further continued their education at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine from 1984 to 1988, completing their MD degree in Medicine. Rasmussen then engaged in a Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota from 1988 to 1991.

Additionally, Rasmussen earned certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in January 2011.
