Giana Acevedo

Giana Acevedo has a diverse work experience that includes roles in risk analysis, paralegal work, legal assistance, and internships. Giana'smost recent position is as a Risk Analyst at Celero Commerce, which they began in September 2022. Prior to this, Giana worked as a Paralegal at Henderson & Mehta Law and Mediation Center from May 2021 to November 2022. Giana also served as a Legal Assistant at Ivec Law from October 2019 to May 2021. Giana gained experience as a Paralegal Intern at Amin Talati Wasserman, LLP from June 2019 to the present. In addition, they had an internship in the risk management department at TransNational Payments from October 2018 to October 2019. Giana's work experience also extends to non-legal roles, with their participation in the Model Illinois Government Simulation in 2017, where they focused on judiciary bills. Lastly, they worked as a Soccer Referee at the Plainfield Park District from 2006 to 2014.

Giana Acevedo began their education in 2014 at Benedictine University, where they studied Criminal Justice. Giana continued their studies at Loyola University Chicago from 2018 to 2019, completing a Litigation & Corporate Certificate in Paralegal Studies in the Institute for Paralegal Studies, an American Bar Association-Approved Post-Baccalaureate Program.
