Giovanni Traverso

Giovanni Traverso is an advisor at Celero Systems. Giovanni was previously a visiting scientist at the MIT Department of Mechanical Engineering from September 2018 to June 2019. Giovanni has also worked as a researcher at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Lyndra, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Their research focus is gastrointestinal-based drug delivery.

Giovanni Traverso completed a PhD in Early Detection of Colon Cancer at The Johns Hopkins University. Giovanni then went on to complete an MB, BChir in Medicine at the University of Cambridge. Finally, they completed a BA in Medical Sciences and Genetics also at the University of Cambridge.
