Kenny MacKinnon

Machine shop cell lead

Kenny MacKinnon has extensive experience in the machining industry, having worked at Weir Pumps Ltd from August 1997 to May 2007 as a CNC Turner/Miller, where skills included operating vertical borers, vertical machining centres, and manual lathes with various controls. Prior to this role, Kenny completed a 4-year apprenticeship as a Turner, gaining proficiency in both manual and CNC machine tools. From May 2007 to April 2020, Kenny served as a CNC Machinist at CLYDEUNION Pumps, operating G&L Mag Vtc2500 and Mitsubishi Mvb machining centres. From April 2020 to February 2025, Kenny held the position of Computer Numerical Control Machinist at Celeros Flow Technology, specializing in G&L Mag 2500 Vertical Turning centre and Correa Anayak FP50 Gantry Mill operations, and is currently serving as a Machine Shop Cell Lead since February 2025.
