Pedro Xavier is an experienced telecommunications professional with a background in VoLTE network analysis and optimization. Currently serving as Core Technical Authority at Cyient since June 2019, Pedro specializes in diagnosing and analyzing speech-related issues such as packet loss, jitter, and delay, along with VoLTE-specific KPI analysis. Prior to this role, Pedro worked at Nokia Networks from April 2011 to June 2019 as a Network Planning and Optimization Engineer, gaining extensive technical knowledge of CS and IMS core products and hands-on experience with various Nokia solutions, including TAS, MSS, MGW, and IMS BGF. Pedro holds a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (2008-2010) and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the same institution (2005-2008), complemented by a foundational education at Colégio Moderno.
