Darius Badenhorst

Darius Badenhorst is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Chief Growth Officer at Cell C since February 2024. Previously, Darius held several senior positions at Vodacom from April 2013 to July 2023, including Managing Executive roles in Base Growth, Retentions and Loyalty, and Digital Process Re-Engineering, where significant enterprise-wide transformations were established through automation and AI. Darius also served as Executive Head of Customer Value Management and as a Senior Specialist in finance decision support, focusing on deep analysis of customer behaviors and product pricing strategies. Earlier in the career, Darius was Senior Credit Risk Manager at Bridge Loans from May 2009 to April 2013. Darius holds a degree in BSc Actuarial and Financial Mathematics and an honours degree in Financial Engineering from the University of Pretoria, as well as completing all actuarial and CA exams through the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
