Associate Director - Biopharma Strategy at Cell Signaling Technology

Sam Jensen has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. They started their career at Beckman Coulter as a Scientist, where they worked on cell culturing systems and produced monoclonal antibodies for immunoassay platforms. They also worked in an FDA/ISO-regulated environment and applied GLP and GMP. Later, they joined Northwestern University as a PhD candidate and also served as a teaching assistant. After completing their PhD, they returned to Beckman Coulter in various roles, including Senior Development Scientist and Global Product Manager. They then joined Covaris as a Senior Product Manager before moving on to their current position at Cell Signaling Technology (CST). At CST, they worked as a Product Marketing Manager before advancing to the role of Global Strategic Marketing Manager in the biopharmaceutical division. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director - BioPharma Strategy at CST.

Sam Jensen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, which was obtained from 2001 to 2005. They also have a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology (Cancer Biology) from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, which was completed from 2008 to 2013. In addition, Sam has a Certificate in Management for Scientists and Engineers from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, which was earned in 2012. Recently, in 2017, they completed the Credential of Readiness (CORe) program in Business Administration and Management, General from Harvard Business School Online.
