Dan Otto has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dan started their career as an Account Executive Intern for the Public Sector Sales Team at Sprint Nextel in 2012. The following year, they worked as a Research and Analysis Intern at ICSC. In 2013, Dan co-founded Zairge, a hotel management platform, where they served as the COO. Dan was responsible for sales and marketing efforts, securing early adoption of the platform and representing the company in funding efforts. From 2015 to 2017, Dan worked at Lockheed Martin as a Project Manager. Dan then joined Code&Quill in 2017, initially as the Head of B2B Sales and Operations, and later as the Director of Operations. At Code&Quill, Dan developed and operated the B2B sales line of business, overseeing the entire lifecycle of custom orders. Dan managed customer relationships, coordinated production with international suppliers, and ensured timely delivery of custom branded orders. In 2020, Dan moved to Cellar Door, where they currently hold the role of Director of Operations.
Dan Otto attended William & Mary from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Chinese. In 2012, they also spent a year studying Chinese at Peking University. Additionally, Dan has obtained three certifications: Certified Ecommerce Marketing Specialist from DigitalMarketer in April 2020, Direct-Response Copywriting Specialist from DigitalMarketer in April 2018, and Certified RealityCharting® Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Practitioner from Apollo Root Cause Analysis in September 2016.
