Saqib Naveed

Saqib Naveed is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on controls and automation, currently serving as the Supervising Staff Controls Engineer at Cellares since September 2023. Previously, Saqib held various roles including Controls Engineering Manager at Twelve and Senior Automation Controls Manager at Iron Ox. With a strong background in electrical design, system integration, and project management, Saqib has successfully led the design and implementation of industrial control systems and plant electrical designs across multiple organizations such as Dishcraft Robotics and Saltworks Technologies. Proficient in technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols, Saqib also engaged in R&D activities and played a proactive role in establishing company standards and enhancing workplace culture. Saqib holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
