Tuan Tran

Tuan Tran is a highly experienced professional in the fields of bioengineering and systems engineering, currently serving as a Staff Systems Engineer at Cellares since February 2024. Prior to this role, Tuan was the Head of Hardware at Ansa Biotechnologies, Inc. from January 2021 to November 2023, and a Staff Scientist at Singular Genomics between June 2017 and January 2021. Tuan's academic background includes a PhD in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley/UC San Francisco, complemented by a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tuan has also gained research experience as a Research Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center from 2009 to 2010. Areas of expertise include protein engineering, droplet microfluidics, and synthetic biology.
