Yelena Gertsen

Yelena Gertsen currently serves as the Director of People & Culture at Cellares since April 2023, bringing extensive experience in human resources and employee relations. Previously, Yelena held the position of Employee Relations Manager at Lyft from July 2020 to March 2023, and before that, managed employee relations at Walmart eCommerce from October 2014 to July 2020. Yelena's career in human resources began at UCSF as an Analyst HR Liaison from June 2010 to 2014, and earlier experience includes working as an HR Generalist at Elite Tech Knowledge from 2008 to 2010. Yelena holds a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Golden Gate University.
