Hector Cruz

Hector Cruz has a strong background in development and engagement roles within the education sector. Hector started their career at Evangel University as an Admissions Counselor in 2009 and later became a Lead Financial Aid Counselor. Hector then advanced to the role of Capital Campaign Manager, where they successfully managed two campaigns and collaborated with the Vice President of University Advancement. Hector also served as the Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Fund, leading the team responsible for strengthening relationships with Evangel, CBC, and AGTS alumni. In addition, they were the Director of Development and an Adjunct Faculty member. Currently, Hector is the Senior Development Officer at Evangel University. Aside from their work in education, Hector worked at CellARide as an Operations Manager and served as an Advisory Council Member.

Hector Cruz has a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Evangel University. Hector earned this degree before the year 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma from the same university in 2017. In 2013, Hector completed their Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Evangel University, and in 2009, they graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, also from Evangel University.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Hector Cruz has obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they earned the CFRE Certification from CFRE International. In May 2022, they became a Full Member of the Greater Springfield Association of Fundraising Professionals. Lastly, in May 2023, they became a member of the SE Springfield Rotary Club, affiliated with Rotary International.
