Jennifer O'Brien

Jennifer O'Brien is a seasoned professional in assay development with over 16 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Director of Assay Development at Cellarity since February 2022, Jennifer previously held the position of Principal Scientist and Assay Development Lead at Eisai US from February 2019 to February 2022, and had a long tenure at Intra-Cellular Therapies from May 2007 to February 2019, progressing through various roles including Senior Scientist II and Scientist II. Jennifer's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pharmacology from the University of Washington, a PhD in Biophysics/Molecular & Cellular Integrative Neuroscience from Colorado State University, and a BS in Biology/Neurobiology & Behavior from Cornell University.
