Sayani Mukherjee

Sayani Mukherjee is a Senior Research Associate at Cellarity since August 2021, specializing in developing phenotypic in vitro assays, including T cell and B cell activation, as well as macrophage polarization assays. Previous experience at Cellarity includes roles as Research Associate II and Research Associate, focusing on high throughput screening and in vitro differentiation of CD34+ cells, respectively. At Ribon Therapeutics, Sayani contributed as a co-op in Molecular Discovery, performing high throughput NanoBRET assays and generating stable cell lines. Additionally, valuable work as a Research Volunteer in Dr. Ralph Loring's lab involved investigating alpha-7 nicotinic receptor interactions. Sayani began a research career as a Junior Research Fellow at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, focusing on Hox genes in ovarian cancer. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Biotechnology from Northeastern University and another Master’s in Biotechnology from Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from PES Degree College, Bangalore University.
