Kristien Verhoeven

Kristien Verhoeven is the Chief Operating Officer of Kristien'stoCarta & GeneCarta at CellCarta. Kristien is responsible for all histopathology & genomics services (China, Europe, US). Kristien has managed operational growth of >25% YoY and has created value through automation, efficiency & process improvement while keeping customer focus and scientific expertise. Kristien has also been responsible for operational due diligence and integration of additional acquisitions. Prior to joining CellCarta, Kristien was the Chief Operating Officer of Kristien'stoGeneX NV. Kristien was responsible for pathology, genomics and biomarker assessment services spanning the drug development continuum in precision medicine. Kristien was also responsible for providing pathology, genomics and biomarker assessment services spanning the drug development continuum in precision medicine. Kristien has also worked as the Managing Director of Laboratory operations at Kristien'stoGeneX and as an Innovation & valorisation Manager at the University of Antwerp. Kristien started their career as a medical device biologist at Cochlear, where they eventually became the Global Head of Implant Biology & Surgery. Kristien is a post-doctoral research fellow (FWO funded) at VIB.

Kristien Verhoeven has a Master of Business Administration from Antwerp Management School, a Global Management degree from INSEAD, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Sciences from the University of Antwerp.
