Julie Karlsson

Julie Karlsson has a diverse work experience, starting as a Games Attendant, Food Service, and Admissions Attendant at Land of Make Believe from May 2015 to September 2017. Julie then worked as a Courtesy Clerk at ShopRite from June 2017 to August 2021. Concurrently, from April 2021 to May 2023, they also held a role as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health. Julie gained research experience as an REU Intern at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences from May 2022 to July 2022. Julie then transitioned to a role as a Research Associate at Celldex Therapeutics starting from May 2023. Throughout their work experience, they demonstrated a strong interest in healthcare and science.

Julie Karlsson attended Hood College from 2019 to 2023, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Biological Sciences. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Julie also obtained several certifications. In 2021, they became a Pharmacy Technician certified by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy. The following year, in 2022, they obtained another pharmacy technician certification from the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy. Julie also focused on emergency medical services and became an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certified by the NJ Department of Health in July 2022. Julie furthered their EMT training and obtained a certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in February 2023. Moreover, Julie also obtained CPR & AED certification from the American Heart Association in January 2023.
