Rich Sharples

Rich Sharples serves as the Vice President of Products at Cellebrite since February 2025, leading product strategy and a team of product managers in digital forensics solutions. Previously, Rich was the Vice President and Head of Product at Portainer.io and the Vice President of SaaS Product Management at CloudBees, where a focus on a single platform strategy was implemented. As Head of Product and General Manager at Red Hat from April 2008 to March 2023, Rich managed comprehensive product strategy for a significant open source-based subscription business. Additional experience includes roles at Sun Microsystems with responsibilities ranging from Group Product Manager to Technical Consultant and a tenure on the Board of Directors for the Node.js Foundation. Rich began a career in software development at Science Systems (Space) Ltd, specializing in military and space platforms. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of the West of England and completed an Executive Development program at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
