Omotayo Akande

Omotayo Akande has diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 2008, they worked as a Business Administrator at SETRACO GROUP. The following year, they joined Canopus Pharmaceutical Company as a Medical Sales Manager until 2012. From 2015 to 2017, Omotayo worked as a Preschool Teacher at Göteborgs Stad. In 2019, they joined Limpid AB and held the positions of Scrum Master and Software QA Tester until 2020. In 2020, they worked at DocuSign as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Currently, Omotayo is working at CELLINK, first as a Software QA Engineer since 2021 and later transitioning to the role of Scrum Master.

Omotayo Akande holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems from Linnaeus University, which they obtained from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended EC Utbildning from 2019 to 2020, focusing on Software Testing, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree from this institution. Omotayo also completed a Master's degree in Educational Research from the University of Gothenburg between 2014 and 2016. Their undergraduate education was pursued at Olabisi Onabanjo University(O.O.U), where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Education) degree in Chemistry, graduating in 2008. Additionally, Omotayo holds certifications in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Test Automation Foundation from LinkedIn, obtained in November 2020. They also have a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
