Raquel Hafstrand

Raquel Hafstrand has a diverse work experience in various scientific and quality control roles. Raquel started their career at AnalyCen Nordic AB in 2003 as a Mikrobiolog, where they were responsible for receiving and registering samples, conducting analysis, and evaluating results. Raquel worked there until 2006. In 2007, they briefly worked at Lantmännen Analycen AB as a Laboratory Technician. Raquel then joined Eurofins Sverige as a Laboratory Technician in 2008.

In 2009, Raquel joined Sahlgrenska University Hospital as a Laboratory Technician, and they worked there until 2010. Raquel then moved to Regosan Manufacturing AB in 2011, where they held the role of QC and Assistant R&D. Their responsibilities included quality control throughout the production department, upscaling, raw material inspection, and issuing reports. Raquel stayed at Regosan Manufacturing AB until 2013.

From 2014 to 2019, Raquel worked at B. Engelhardt & Co. AB. Raquel started as a Laboratory Technician, performing chemical and microbiological analysis and approving batches. Raquel then transitioned to the role of product developer, where they developed cost-effective products and ensured their successful implementation in large-scale production.

Raquel joined CELLINK in 2020 and has since held multiple positions. Raquel started as a Laboratory Technician, responsible for quality control of incoming materials, assemblies, and finished products. In 2021, they took on the role of Quality Control Technician, approving materials for production and maintaining quality standards. In 2022, Raquel became a Bioink Production Engineer, where their focus is on meeting production goals, maintaining quality, and effectively coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Throughout their career, Raquel has demonstrated strong attention to detail, communication skills, and expertise in various laboratory and quality control tasks.

Raquel Hafstrand pursued a degree in Civilingenjör i Bioteknik with a specialization in Biokemi from UAC, México, from 1986 to 1991.
