Talia Castley has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2012. Talia worked as a Layby Associate at BIG W from 2012 to 2015, where they provided excellent customer service and helped customers understand the layby options. From 2016 to 2018, Talia worked as a Sandwich Maker at Subway, where they created a friendly environment and made sure customers received the correct sandwiches according to their preferences. Talia then joined ALDI Stores Australia as a Store Associate from 2018 to 2019, where they served customers with enthusiasm and ensured a neat environment for customers. Talia worked as a Data Center Concierge at Digital Sense from 2019 to 2022, managing daily activities and providing customer support in a 24/7 rotation. At Griffith University, they held multiple roles, including Student Mentor, Student Ambassador, and Research Assistant. As a Student Mentor, Talia provided personalized support to help students get back on track with their studies. As a Student Ambassador, they promoted Griffith University to future students and provided them with information and guidance. Talia also worked as a Research Assistant on a sensor and antenna project for the City of Gold Coast. Talia'smost recent work experience is as a Verification Engineer at CELLINK since 2023.

Talia Castley completed their education at various institutions throughout their academic journey. Talia started in 2019 at Griffith University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electronics. This program lasted from 2019 to 2023.

During their time at Griffith University, Talia obtained several additional certifications. In November 2021, they completed a Mentoring program offered by the university. In February 2016, they received a Certificate III in Business from the Training Institute of Queensland. Talia also achieved a Certificate of Education from the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) in December 2014. That same month, they obtained a Certificate of Graduation from William Ross State High School, which is their alma mater. Talia also acquired a Certificate II in Workplace Practices from William Ross State High School in November 2013.

Furthermore, Talia received specific certifications outside of their degree studies. In March 2021, they completed training in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED through Allens Training. Additionally, in March 2023, they obtained the Engineering Professional Practice certification from Griffith University, along with the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence, earned in 2022.
