Alex Sala

Alex Sala began their work experience in 2003 as a Coordinator of projects and IT consultant at La Salle BCN. In 2005, they moved on to work at Libre Ejercicio Profesional as a Responsible for projects in Telecommunications Infrastructures. In 2006, they joined Cellnex Telecom as a Senior IT Project Manager, overseeing the planning and management of IT projects. Over the years, they held various roles within the company, including Head of Spain Applications and Global Head of IT Client Solutions. Since November 2022, they have served as the Global Head of IT Applications at Cellnex Telecom. Additionally, in 2012, they served as a Work Package 4 Leader for the iCity Project, which focused on the co-creation of public interest services using public ICT systems.

Alex Sala earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Systems from Universitat Ramon Llull between 1996 and 2003. Alex then pursued a Master's degree in ICT Management at the same university from 2008 to 2010. Recently, from 2021 to 2023, they attended EADA Business School to complete an Executive MBA.
