Calvin Reed

Calvin Reed has worked in a variety of roles in the medical field since 2001. Calvin began their career as a Medical Laboratory Technician at the Naval Medical Research Center, then moved to Suburban Hospital as a Medical Technologist in 2007. Calvin was then employed at the Pediatric Care Center in the same role, before taking on an Interim Laboratory Manager/Laboratory Technologist role at George Mason University in 2019. Currently, they are employed as a Lead Quality Control Technician and Quality Control Technician at Cellphire Therapeutics, Inc.

Calvin Reed has a diverse education history. Calvin obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) in General Studies from Palomar College in 1997. Calvin then obtained an Associate of Science - AS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Montgomery College. In 2001, they received a Phlebotomy Technician certification from American Medical Technologists. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Salisbury University in 2017. Additionally, they received Navy Basic Laboratory Training and Advanced Laboratory Training from Naval Health Science School San Diego, California in 1993.
