Roberto Guerrieri

Roberto Guerrieri is a seasoned entrepreneur and academic with extensive experience in technology and healthcare. As the Founder of Shared Technologies since March 2022, Roberto focuses on developing platforms for Expressive Smart Contracts. Concurrently, as a Senior Founder at Cellply, active since February 2013, Roberto works on cell therapy innovations for cancer patients. Roberto's academic career includes a tenure as a Professor at the University of Bologna from January 1990 to March 2022, conducting research in new computing architectures and biosensors. Prior experience includes serving as University Lab Director at STMicroelectronics from 1996 to 2013, where Roberto explored advanced integrated circuit applications, and as a Senior Founder at Silicon Biosystems from 1999 to 2005, contributing to lab-on-a-chip technology for cell manipulation. Roberto holds a Postgraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD in Computer Sciences from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
