Charles van Aert

Charles van Aert is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at Ocean Infinity since June 2022 and also working at Cellula Robotics Ltd. since September 2019 as a Mechanical Engineer, EIT. Prior to these roles, Charles gained valuable experience as a Mechatronic Systems Engineer at the National Research Council Canada from September 2018 to July 2019, contributing to the design of active adjustment systems for a radio telescope. Earlier positions include a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Cellula Robotics Ltd., where responsibilities encompassed mechanical design and testing of deep-sea equipment, and a Junior Mechanical Engineer role at Pavac Industries Inc., focusing on design and testing for CNC vacuum welding machines. Charles holds a degree in Mechatronics Systems Engineering from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2019, following an Engineering Transfer Program at the University of the Fraser Valley.
