Abhi Kumar is an advisor at CAS (The Cellular Agriculture Society). Abhi is also a visiting researcher at IAMECON, where they study the future price and scale of plant-based meat alternatives using methods to study technological change like expert elicitation and formal modeling. The project is funded by the Food Systems Research Fund. Prior to their current positions, Kumar was a venture partner, investment associate/consultant, and part of the investment team at Lever VC and Ahimsa VC. Abhi was also responsible for international engagement at The Good Food Institute, where they mapped country-level markets (companies, distributors etc.) for plant-based meat, milk and egg products, and found potential accelerators and incubators for good food companies. Kumar has also worked as a research assistant at the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, and as kitchen staff/manager at Jericho's Cafe.

Abhi Kumar has a Master of Management Studies from Yale School of Management, a Master in Management from HEC Paris, and a Bachelor of Social Science from Singapore Management University. Abhi is currently working on their Mathematics & Economics degree from UCLA Extension and has completed coursework in Calculus, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics. Abhi also has a certification from Hogan Assessment Systems and a Coursera Verified Certificate in Introduction to Finance.
