Chris Bryant

Chris Bryant is the current advisor at CAS (The Cellular Agriculture Society). Chris has been in this position since November 2017. Prior to this, they were the Director of Social Sciences at CAS from November 2017 to January 2021. Chris has also worked as a University Teacher at the University of Bath from October 2017 to July 2020, and as a PhD Student at the University of Bath from October 2016 to September 2020. In this role, Chris investigated consumer adoption of cultured meat and other novel protein sources, as well as the psychology around consumption of meat and animal products. Prior to their work in academia, Chris worked in sales and analytics at Bloomberg LP from June 2015 to September 2015, and as a Carbon Data Analyst at the Environmental Investment Organisation from June 2014 to September 2014.

Chris Bryant has a PhD in Energy, Environment, and Resilience from the University of Bath, an MSc in Policy Research from the University of Bristol, and a BA in Business and Management from the University of Exeter. Chris also did an Erasmus Year in Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
