JT Thome

JT Thome has been the Chief Operating Officer for Cellular Sales since November 2010 and has helped lead the company through it’s phenomenal growth surge. He is responsible for all store operations, technology, marketing and merchandising, customer experience, as well as the national call center. After serving in the US Army, JT began his career in sales with AT&T in data network and call center solutions. While there he met and eventually joined an early start-up team which created WebMD.com – a leading provider of online healthcare content. While at WebMD.com, JT served in several executive roles within the company including VP of Product Development from the business’s inception to its successful IPO on the NASDAQ. Following WebMD, JT was the Chief Information Officer for Jewelry Television, a home shopping network with an audience of more than 130 million viewers and was also responsible for growing Jewelry Television’s website, JTV.com, into the fourth-largest pure-play jewelry website in the United States. JT eventually left Jewelry Television to become Chief Operating Officer at Textbooks.com and helped turn the website into the most comprehensive online resource for educational materials, both physical and digital. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Emory University.
