aphne A.Haas-Kogan

Cellworks Clinical Advisor, Daphne Hass-Kogan, MD, is chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital. She is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Haas-Kogan completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology magna cum laude from Harvard University. She completed her medical degree in 1991, her residency in Radiation Oncology and post-doctoral fellowship in molecular neuro-oncology from University of California, San Francisco in 1997. She later served as Vice-Chair for Research and Educational Program Director at UCSF.

She received several awards for teaching including the prestigious Joseph L. Barrett Award for Teaching at Harvard University and the Henry J. Kaiser Award for Excellence in Teaching from UCSF School of Medicine.
