Deepak Nulu

Deepak Nulu has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Deepak is currently working as a Distinguished Engineer at Celona, where they are responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing the cloud and edge-based private-5G solution for enterprises. Deepak is also involved in full-stack development of Celona's features in the cloud.

Prior to Celona, Deepak worked as the Chief Architect at Araali Networks from 2019 to 2021. There, they played a key role in devising new features, frontend and backend architecture, and technology choices for their zero-trust distributed firewall product. Deepak was also involved in the design and development of frontend and backend components and libraries, as well as visual design, interaction design, and usability design of the frontend.

Before that, Deepak had extensive experience at Google, where they held multiple roles. Deepak served as a Technical Lead for Cloud ML/AI UI from 2017 to 2019, and as a Senior Software Engineer for Cloud ML/AI APIs from 2016 to 2017. In these roles, they were responsible for the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and on-call duties for various cloud-based APIs and user interfaces related to machine learning and artificial intelligence. Deepak also worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Networking, where they contributed to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Bandwidth Enforcer, a large-scale distributed system for allocation of WAN bandwidth.

Deepak's earlier experience includes serving as the CTO and Founder of ScaleBlaze from 2013 to 2015, where they led the technical aspects of the company. Deepak also worked as a Software Architect at Redwood Systems from 2009 to 2013, and as a Technical Lead at Agito Networks from 2007 to 2009.

Deepak began their career at Cisco Systems, Inc, where they worked as a Technical Leader from 1996 to 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Member of Technical Staff at StrataCom, Inc from 1995 to 1996, and as a Summer Intern at StrataCom, Inc in 1994.

Throughout their career, Deepak has demonstrated expertise in various areas of software development, including architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems.

Deepak Nulu completed their high school education at Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School from 1982 to 1988. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, attending from 1988 to 1992. Deepak furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans between 1992 and 1995.
