Preethi Natarajan has over 19 years of experience in the tech industry. Preethi began their career in 2001 as an Intern at Novell. In 2003, they moved to HP as a Software Engineer, where they were part of a team investigating distributed system frameworks and middleware. Preethi then joined the University of Delaware in 2004 as a Research Assistant, working towards their dissertation on \"Impact of Transport (L4) services towards Application Performance\". In 2006, they were a Research Intern at the University of Wien and in 2007, they were a Summer Intern at Google. In 2009, they joined Cisco as a Software Engineer, Advanced Architecture and Research. Preethi was the main contributor to the Connected Vehicle project, investigating issues related to mobility and analyzing existing solutions. In 2012, they became a Technical Lead at Cisco. In 2017, they moved to 159 Solutions, Inc. as the Lead for Product Architecture and Development. In this role, they designed an end-to-end architecture for analytics chatbot platform. In 2019, they joined Cloudreach as a Principal Engineer, Data and Analytics Team. There, they built infrastructure and application analytics features as part of the on-cloud management platform. Finally, in 2020, they joined Celona as a Principal Engineer.

Preethi Natarajan received their PhD in Computer Science from the University of Delaware in 2009. Preethi received their M.S in Computer Science from the University of Delaware in 2003. Prior to that, they attended the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 1997 to 2001, where they studied Information Systems.
