John Comley

John Comley has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the footwear and clothing industry. John started their career in 1982 as a Production Foreman at Jack & Jill footwear. John then worked as a Production Manager at Jaguar Shoes from 1985 to 1987. Following this, they joined Eddels Shoes as a Production Manager from 1987 to 2000. In 2001, they became a Production Director and later a Managing Director at Eddels Shoes until 2010. From 1997 to 2023, they held the role of CEO at Eddels Shoes/ Celrose Clothing. Since 2007, they have been the Chief Executive Officer at Celrose Clothing.

John Comley completed their Matric at Westering High School from 1972 to 1978. John then pursued a degree in Footwear Technical & Management at LIRI, which they completed from 1982 to 1985. In 1992, John attended the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, where they obtained a degree in General Management.
