Kent Rahman

Kent Rahman has a diverse work experience in design and product development. Kent is currently serving as the Co-Founder of Design at _Final DAO since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Product Design at Celsius starting from August 2021.

From June 2019 to August 2021, Kent worked as a Principal Designer at ThoughtWorks, where they played a key role in design and product development. Before that, they served as a Lead Product Designer at ThoughtWorks from July 2016 to July 2019.

Kent also has a strong background in innovation and community collaboration. Kent co-founded and directed the Hardware Hack Lab, a free space for artists, hackers, and innovators in NYC, from 2012 to August 2021. Additionally, they worked as a UX Director at Double Eye Studios from April 2017 to February 2021, where they explored new forms of interactive storytelling using virtual reality, augmented reality, and volumetric filmmaking.

Prior to these roles, Kent gained experience as a Product Designer at ThoughtWorks from 2012 to 2016, and as a User Experience Designer at Integration New Media, Inc. (INM) from August 2010 to August 2012.

Kent's early career includes founding Kentron Design in 2007, where they served as the Founder until August 2010. Kent also worked as a Graphic and Web Designer at Upp Records from July 2004 to May 2009, and as an Interface Designer at Level Social from 2007 to 2009. Throughout their career, Kent has showcased their work at prominent film festivals such as SXSW, Sundance, Tribeca, and Venice.

Kent Rahman attended The University of British Columbia from 2003 to 2008. Kent pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History and Economics.
